Mr. Adam Bialostocki

Cosmetic & Reconstructive Plastic Surgeon MBChB
FRACS (plastic)

Mr. Bialostocki is a Specialist Plastic Surgeon, with a Fellowship in Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery from the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (FRACS). He is New Zealand-trained and thoroughly knowledgeable in the newest, safest, & latest techniques available worldwide. His warm and respectful way with patients is well known, many coming to see him from the Waikato and Bay of Plenty regions, as well as the rest of New Zealand, throughout the Pacific and abroad.

He consults and performs minor procedures at Da Vinci Clinic and more significant operations at Tauranga’s Grace Hospital. Ensuring his patients receive excellent care and achievable, long-lasting results are of utmost importance to Mr Bialostocki.

His in-depth experience in the field of plastic surgery is an integral part of Mr Bialostocki’s skill as a surgeon today, though an absolute talent for the procedures he performs has gained him a reputation as a highly respected plastic surgeon. Although his practice encompasses all areas of plastic surgery, his main emphasis is breast surgery (including breast augmentation, breast lift, breast reduction and breast reconstruction), body contouring (including liposuction and abdominoplasty) as well as facial rejuvenation (facelifts, mid-face lifts, neck lifts, eyelid surgery, browlifts, rhinoplasty). The emerging field of body contouring after massive-weight loss is a fascinating new sub-area, and Mr Bialostocki keeps up-to-date with the leading techniques. He also performs a large amount of skin cancer surgery, hand surgery, gynaecomastia correction and ACC scar revision surgery. He has developed a special interest in lipomodelling, the use of fat grafts for cosmetic & reconstructive use.

Mr Bialostocki is a member of the International Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery, an invitation-only society of International Plastic Surgeons which is a professional association devoted to maintenance of excellent ethical and professional standards within the field. Additionally, he has been on the executive of the New Zealand Association of Plastic & Reconstructive Surgeons (NZAPS) and he is a Trustee for the Plastic Surgery Research Foundation of New Zealand.

Mr Bialostocki has an appointment at Tauranga Hospital as the visiting Plastic Surgery Consultant whilst also a member of the Plastic Surgery department at Waikato Public Hospital in Hamilton. He is involved in teaching plastic surgery trainee registrars and he has been the Training Supervisor in Plastic Surgery for the Waikato Region, and was on the committee responsible for selecting prospective plastic surgeon trainees for future training. Mr Bialostocki regularly presents to local general practitioners on plastic surgery topics and is also asked to give lectures to general practice registrars and nursing groups throughout the region. He updates his education with regular attendances at national and international conferences and workshops, also giving lectures at meetings.

Mr Bialostocki moved to the Waikato Region in January 2003 and then to the Bay of Plenty in December 2007. He is a graduate of Otago Medical School (1993) and has since worked in Wellington, Lower Hutt, Auckland, Waikato and Middlemore Hospitals in a variety of different surgical specialties. He was trained in the New Zealand Plastic Surgery training program at Middlemore Hospital in South Auckland and Hutt Hospital in Lower Hutt. After being awarded his Fellowship in Plastic Surgery, he further honed his knowledge with extended visits to some of the most prominent plastic surgeons in Australia and Europe. Now a resident of the Bay of Plenty, after hours, he enjoys windsurfing, mountain biking and spending time with his young family.
